Better

 Things are constantly getting better, it's the level of cynicism that's getting bigger. More people get food, have access to higher education, can voice their opinion, than ever before. I guess it's just something in human nature that forces them to only look at the darker side of everything. This is dangerously getting close to a pep talk, but it's just a reality check.
